Qualification To Start The Course
Students who have not gained a grade C. Preference will be given to students gaining a 'D' grade.
What You Will Do
- Investigative work
- Text book teaching
- Topics include algebra, trigonometry, graphs, transformation, probability and statistics
- Assessment is through coursework assignments and two examination papers
Future Prospects
Mathematics at grade 'C' or above is important for gaining access to higher education. For some courses, such as education, it is essential. Students will only be accepted if they can attend all lessons. Regular attendance and completion of all homework is a requirement for entry.
