Qualification To Start The Course

Students who have not gained a grade C. Preference will be given to students gaining a 'D' grade.

What You Will Do

• A range of coursework assignments, including a Shakespeare unit
• The study of a pre-released booklet of media texts and poetry
• Oral presentation and discussions
• Assessment is through two examination papers, a coursework folder and oral coursework

Future Prospects

English at grade C or above is important for gaining access to higher education. For some courses, such as education, it is essential.
