Qualification To Start The Course
Expected basic GCSE requirements for advance level study – i.e. five grades A*–C at GCSE. You must have gained at least a 'C grade' in English and mathematics.
Description Of The Subject
Psychology is the study of the mind and behaviour. You will explore issues dealing with how and why people behave in a certain ways and what links people's behaviour to the environment.
What You Will Do
- Acquire an understanding of psychological theories
- Explore different areas such as memory, intelligence, stress, sleep, eating disorders and schizophrenia
- Look at research methods and the collection of data
- Participate in and conduct psychological investigations
- Analyse and interpret your own or others data and evaluate your findings
- Discuss ethics in psychology

Follow a degree course in any of the social sciences leading to a career in:
