Qualification To Start The Course
Four GCSEs including Bengali at grade C or above or GVNQ intermediate level or a pass at a minimum B grade in GCSE Bengali.
Description Of The Subject
This course aims to develop the student’s skills in:
- The use of language for practical purposes
- Awareness of learning strategies and study skills
- Experiencing Bengali literature and through this gaining an understanding of the moral and intellectual aspects of human life
What You Will Do
The course is studied in five parts;
- Oral: (a) Conversation, (b) Sign translation into English
- Listening: Listening, Comprehension and Summary
- Translation: (a) Translation into English, (b) Translation into Bengali
- Reading: Reading comprehension
- Writing: (a) Composition, (b) Background knowledge
Future Prospects
